North Wilts Young Musicians (NWYM) aims to provide facilities on a weekly basis during term-time for young musicians from both primary and secondary schools to experience high quality music making.

Pupils join NWYM from across the North of Wiltshire and are carefully guided to join the most appropriate group. Groups in the North feed the Senior Groups of West Wiltshire Young Musicians and more experienced players from this area may wish to visit the WWYM section. Activities include weekly rehearsals in term time and concerts.

There is also a commitment to regional and national festivals and our Junior Strings groups have played at the Symphony Hall and Town Hall in Birmingham
