West Wiltshire Young Musicians (WWYM) aim to provide facilities on a weekly basis during term time for young musicians of both primary and secondary age to experience high quality music making.

Pupils join WWYM from across West Wiltshire and surrounding areas and are guided to the most appropriate group.  Young musicians begin in a junior group and progress up to senior groups.  More experienced musicans can join a group at an appropriate level for them.

Activities include weekly rehearsals during term time and concerts.  There is a commitment to National Festivals - our junior strings have peformed at both the Symphony Hall, Birmingham and in 2012 the Town Hall in Birmingham. In 2011 members of West Wiltshire Young Singers and the West Wiltshire Youth Orchestra performed at the Royal Albert Hall, London as part of the Schools Prom. In 2013 some of our groups were also involved in four performances of Noye's Fludde to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Benjamin Britten's birth - this was a community production and held in the historic Tythe Barn in Bradford on Avon.
