Wiltshire Young Musicians are seeking an enthusiastic music leader to take charge of their junior wind band in Chippenham. The band is for any school age wind, brass or percussion players from beginners up to grade 2 standard.

Wiltshire Young Musicians are looking to open new beginner (never played an instrument before) groups from Easter. Each introductory course will be over a 6 week period and will be on a rotational basis through the year to cover strings, woodwind, brass, percussion and possibly Guitar/keys. We hope to see some permanent uptake to feed through into our current junior groups. The new groups will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5pm in the Wiltshire Music Centre, Bradford on Avon. This would be an irregular piece of work for each practitioner and is likely to total no more than 12 weeks in a year for each instrumental section. The rate of pay would be in line with the rate for ensemble leads at £35 – £37 p/h.
